Fight Song!

There was some talk about a Caps fight song.  Now the Chronicles has known about the local band the Darkest Hour’s song  for a while because Anna found it way back. Old news that has picked up some steam. We think the song is… well the song is… Well it’s the thought that counts! Do the Caps need a fight song? Not really! Does that stop me from throwing in my two cents? NO!

The Caps are in gear,

The      insert opposing team here  ‘ll steer clear
‘Cause ev’ry      insert opposing team here  ’s a lousy chicken! (note: “Penguins” fits the rhyme scheme rather well)

I ripped this off from West Side Story? Yes. Excellent fight song? YES! Potential opening game video idea complete with the Caps doing a dance number ala “the Prologue”? Possibly mind blowing…
